Vanessa Bammer Sandhu's grandparents are our latest source for Burgenland-based recipes. The grandparents come from Inzenhof, Eisenberg an der Pinka, Woppendorf, and Kemesmál, Hungary (near Luising, Burgenland), and all settled in the West Coplay/Coplay/Northampton area of the Lehigh Valley in PA. Vanessa says about the first recipe, This is one of my favorite things my Pop Pop would make for us. It was called 'green pumpkin soup'. I know it may sound odd, but I assure you, it tastes amazing! Give it a try, I say!
